Lahore: HBL PSL 9 2024 will be started on February 17, at the Lahore Gaddafi Stadium. The opening match Fixture defending champions Lahore Qalandars against Islamabad United, winners of the 2016 and 2018 editions. The tournament spans four cities – Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi – culminating in the final at Karachi’s National Bank Stadium on March 18.
The 34-match T20 tournament will unfold with Karachi hosting 11 matches, featuring crucial encounters like the Qualifier, two Eliminators, and the final. Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium and Rawalpindi’s Pindi Cricket Stadium are set to stage nine matches each, offering fans an abundance of cricketing excitement. Meanwhile, Multan, renowned as the city of saints, eagerly anticipates its share of the action, with five matches scheduled.
A highlight of the tournament is the highly anticipated face-off between Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings, slated for February 24 and March 9. The clash on February 24 will electrify Gaddafi Stadium, while the one on March 9 will enthrall spectators at the National Bank Stadium.
Home turf advantage will play a significant role as Kings, Qalandars, Sultans, and United prepare to host five matches each. Peshawar Zalmi, on the other hand, will showcase their prowess in four matches at the Pindi Cricket Stadium. Quetta Gladiators’ journey will see them play three matches each in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, with an additional match against home team Sultans at the Multan Cricket Stadium on February 25.
Following the pattern of the previous edition, In the edition of the HBL PSL 9 2024 will unfold in two legs. From February 17 to 27, Multan Cricket Stadium and Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will share the limelight, hosting a total of 14 matches. Subsequently, cricketing fervor will shift to Rawalpindi’s Pindi Cricket Stadium and Karachi’s National Bank Stadium, where 16 matches will captivate audiences from February 28 to March 12. The tournament will then culminate in Karachi for the playoffs.

Tickets for HBL PSL 9 2024 to go on sale from 6 February
Tickets for HBL PSL 9 2024 will go on sale on Tuesday, 6 February. Fans will be able to pre-book their tickets online on pcb.tcs.com.pk from 1700 PKT onwards.
Physical tickets have been made mandatory for all HBL PSL 9 2024 matches. E-tickets (self-printed or digital copies) will not be accepted for entry across the four venues throughout the tournament. Physical tickets will go on sale at designated TCS express centres from 12 February 2024 onwards. Tickets booked online can also be collected from TCS designated pick-up centres or can be home-delivered by TCS.
The opening ceremony and first match of ninth edition of the HBL PSL is scheduled to take place on 17February at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Tickets have been set at PKR 6,000 (VIP), PKR 3,000 (Premium), PKR 2,000 (First class) and PKR 1,000 (General).
The tickets for the final, to be played on 18 March at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi, have been set at PKR 8,000 (VIP), PKR 4,000 (Premium), PKR 2,500 (First class) and PKR 1,000 (General).
The tickets for the qualifier will be sold for PKR 5,000 (VIP), PKR 2,500 (Premium), PKR 1500 (First class) and PKR 750 (General) while tickets for the two eliminators have been priced at PKR 5,000 (VIP), PKR 3,000 (Premium), PKR 1500 (First class) and PKR 750 (General).
Over the course of HBL PSL 9, Karachi will host 11 matches including the final leg of the tournament, Rawalpindi and Lahore will host nine matches each while Multan will host five matches.
