Allegedly, the negotiation squad of PTI has initiated discussions with the PTI-P, led by Pervez Khattak. To explore the possibility of forming an alliance in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly. Their primary objective is to strengthen cooperation between the two factions, with initial talks currently in progress. Malik Habib Orakzai, the general secretary of PTI-P, verified the initiation of negotiations and disclosed that Asad Qaiser and Ali Amin Gandapur from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf have reached out to their party. Conversations are ongoing, with plans for further negotiations in the foreseeable future.
Efforts are reportedly underway within Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to establish collaboration with Pervez Khattak’s faction, PTI-P, in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly. The discussions seek to foster mutual cooperation between the two entities, with the initial phase of talks already underway. Malik Habib Orakzai, PTI-P’s general secretary, has confirmed the commencement of negotiations and shared that Asad Qaiser and Ali Amin Gandapur from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf have made contact with their party counterparts. The dialogue continues, with additional rounds of negotiations slated to take place soon.
Orakzai elaborated on the main objective of these discussions, highlighting their aim to facilitate the integration of PTI’s independent candidates into PTI-P. Stressing the significance of unity within the party, Malik Habib expressed confidence in the positive outcomes expected from the ongoing negotiations.
Conversely, an important session of the PTI’s core committee convened to explore potential partnerships with various political entities. A significant point of discussion during this meeting centered around the proposed collaboration with Majlis-e-Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM) at the national level. Despite thorough deliberations, a notable faction within the core committee voiced apprehensions and opposition to any affiliation with the MWM.
Instead, the committee initiated discussions to establish fresh alliances across the federal, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa regions. Parties considered for potential collaboration included Jamaat-e-Islami, Sunni Ittehad Council, and the JUI-Shirani group. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leadership has opted to initiate talks with these parties to further explore the possibility of forming alliances.
Orakzai emphasized that the key objective of these discussions was to facilitate the integration of PTI’s independent candidates into PTI-P. Stressing the importance of party unity, Malik Habib expressed confidence in the positive outcomes expected from the ongoing negotiations.

A major focus of the meeting was the proposed alliance with Majlis-e-Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM) at the national level. While extensively deliberated upon, a significant portion of the core committee voiced reservations and opposition to any association with the MWM.
