Lahore: The Interior Department and NADRA made a deal to issue New Arms License Service online in Punjab. Now, people can renew and change their gun licenses on the internet.

In recent developments. Chief Minister Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, officially launched New Arms License Service “The Punjab Arms License Management System” portal. This marks a significant step towards modernizing the process of managing arms licenses in the province.

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has played crucial role in providing convenient facility for the citizens of Lahore. Now, individuals can efficiently renew and modify their arms licenses online, introducing a more accessible and streamlined process.

A notable feature of the newly inaugurated portal is the online transfer of arms licenses to heirs. “This enhancement ensures not only the digitization of the process but also the added convenience of delivering the renewed license directly to the applicant’s home.”

To enhance the renewal and modification processes, authorities have established 11 dedicated counters across the Lahore region. These counters are strategically located at Sanda Road, Abbott Road, Pekorod, and Johar Town in Lahore district. In addition, authorities have set up counters in Sheikhupura, Nankana, Narowal, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Okara, and Kasur.
